Harbor Freight Paint Sprayer, Says it is for “most oil based paints” but I use it for latex paint all the time with this compressor:

Porter-Cable Pin Nailer and Air Compressor Combo Kit
I will tell you that this is not the ideal compressor for the paint sprayer. It has a hard time keeping up. Sometimes I have to hang the sprayer for a few minutes to let the compressor catch up, but it fit in my budget, so it is what I use for now.
Purdy is my absolute favorite paint brush to use whether I’m trimming out a room, or painting a piece of furniture. The quality is superior. Retain your cardboard sleeve to protect your brush and it will last a long time!

My regular readers know how much I love my Silhouette SD.

Kreg Jig has changed how I build everything! You saw me use it on benches and on cupboards. They have a great online community with lots of people showing what they are building.

Click the picture for a video from Dremel to see what this little guy can do, but if you’d like to see how I use my Dremel you can see me cut out my chalkboard speech bubbles. I love the Dremel Trio, but remember it won’t work for wood thicker than 1/2 inch.
Gorilla Glue is ALL I use when I need to secure something. I love it all, from their Super Glue, to their Wood Glue and even their Tape! My absolute favorite is Dries White 2x Faster (because I’m a little impatient). Oh, and I wear the t-shirts ALL the time!
I love using DecoArt paints! The little bottles are perfect for crafting! I used Patio Paints when I painted my DIY Birdhouse.

Dutch Boy paint is great if you’re on a tight budget! I used it to paint my oak cabinets in my kitchen. I love how they turned out and the paint is holding up fabulously! (I used Sweetened White in Semi-gloss)

If your budget allows , you may want to go with Mythic Paint. It is pricier, but I used it to paint the vinyl floor in my kitchen, and it is holding up wonderfully! I really LOVE Mythic paint.
I used a lot of Scotch Blue when I painted my kitchen, but it really came in handy when I repurposed a cupboard door into a tray with a harlequin design.
My favorite Chalkboard Paint
is from Rustoleum. I have used it on countless projects including my repurposed armoire door that I use every day in my kitchen.

I love Krylon Spray Paint! I have used the new Dual paint on a sign, and the Stainless Steel paint transformed some kitchen accessories for me.

These bench cookies from Rockler are great to use for sanding and/or painting!
I also have a tool bag from Rockler that I use to hold my most used tools. I actually won the tool bag when I entered my Toddler Bed @ The DIY Club in the fall of 2010.
My newest love is Annie Sloan Chalk Paint. My stockist is Virginia @ FauxFinishBiz.com. I love how easy the paint covers any finish! I am however, still struggling with the wax application. I’ve never been great with faux finishes.
So, there you have it, some of my favorite products. I have received some of the above products, but I have received no compensation for my opinion. As always, my opinion is my own!

How kind of you to share your wisdom! I'm really impressed with the Kreg Jig. I checked out their site because of you... I'm adding it to my Christmas list (unless I can't wait that long!) Thanks for sharing your ideas. Your website is wonderful and inspiring. Barbara from West Texas
