Sign Display for Craft Show and MORE!

Glendale Crossing Days is on Saturday October 15, 2011.  I have been working so hard getting things put together for the show.  Cathy has always gone with me, but she’s not going this year.  My sister Jo will be renting a booth next to me.  (Thanks to my niece Marie!)  The weather is suppose to be really pretty, I’m really excited.

I spray painted some mini chalkboard eraser backs.

I used spray adhesive to attach felt to them.

I changed up several things that hadn’t sold on Craig’s List.

 

I’ll show the final result of this tomorrow after I take some pictures.

Remember this repurposed vintage ironing board?

I want whoever takes it to it’s new home to be able to use it as art, but I didn’t want to remove the wonderful workings of it’s legs.  I “strapped” the legs down with some upholstery webbing.

Do you remember my repurposed crib into an easel?  When my cousin Lois gave me the crib ends, she also gave me the crib rails.  I needed a way to display my signs.

I used zip ties to “hinge” the pieces together.  Yeah, I could have used hinges, but why use hinges when zip ties will work great?

I installed small screws in random order to hang the signs.  I will be able to utilize all four sides of the rails to hang my signs.  This piece easily collapses for transport and storage!  Brilliant?  yeah, I think so.  Toot Toot!  Mom tooting her own horn jamie!
