Family rules Sign
I have a bunch of scrap boards in my stash, a LOT leftover from my media center from last year. I had this design all put together when I went to look for a board. I found a board that was the EXACT size I needed!  How cool is that!

I painted several boards at one time, and designed this in my Silhouette program:

Eduardian Script & Gabrioloa
Krylon Dual Spray Paint
I painted this board with a creamy color.  I then applied the vinyl letters onto the board.
100_9536
I sprayed a few light coats of Krylon Dual (paint and primer in one)
100_9539
Looks great, eh?
100_9540
I peeled the letters off to reveal the original creamy colored board.
Families Are Forever
Love it!
I really think I’m addicted to making signs! I have made a deal with myself that I am not going to make another one until one sells at the booth.  I sure hope I can stick to it.  I have put my Silhouette away (off the coffee table into the media center cabinet) to encourage me to wait.
You may notice I staged these signs a little differently. The screws I normally use on the other side of this fence were covered up by another portion of fencing so that the roofers could do the gutters.  All the repairs have been made.  I can’t wait for it to rain so I can watch my new gutters/downspouts flow the rainwaters away from the house!
gail
ps We just had a good soaking rain, the rainwater overshoots the gutter in the back of the house, there is a hole for a downspout over the garage roof, but no downspout.  Sad smile  The new skylight, which I have never liked, leaks.   The old skylight NEVER leaked and I really liked it.   hmph!

Loving your signs Gail... why quit now. They are so fun to make that is why you are addicted to them...lol

That is too bad about your leaks... call your insurance company and tell them to deal with the roofer or you will never get it fixed properly. Happy to see you at least have a roof again.

Hope the weather is kind to you this week... it has been glorious here for the past 7 days... dry and blazing hot, but I love it.

Have a great day Gail...

Hugs, Deb

I LOVE your signs and can certainly understand how one could get addicted to making them ;-) Someday I'm going to own a Silhouette :-)))

Good luck getting your repairs done (correctly).

Love all the signs. As long as the weather is too hot to work outside much I'd keep making the signs with the material you have on hand.

It sounds like the roofers need to come back and make some repairs. Hope they can get there soon.

Your signs are lovely--I love making them too. So much FASTER than a big piece of furniture!
Hope you get your leaks fixed quickly!

As I was reading your first sign, I kept thinking "what a cute font! I wonder what it is!". I was happy to see that included :) I love them all. They are playful without being too "cartoony"

Also, the second sign has such crisp lines! It looks great!

Boo about the skylight!

Love the signs, Gail. It's great that you included the fonts as choosing them is the most time consuming part!
Hope you get your roof and skylight fixed ok. What a pain for you!
