Silhouette (cutting fabric)

You know how much I’m loving my Silhouette, right? I’m sure you’ve heard the news that it cuts fabric???

Well, my project isn’t as fantastic as those, but it’s MINE!

This is the “clean cut” interfacing. That means that you don’t have to sew it on!

I ironed the interfacing onto my fabric.

Then I peeled back the backing, leaving the interfacing on the fabric.  SO easy!

You use the pink cap for cutting fabric.  This is really simple folks. All the packages tell you which of the three caps to use, and the settings for cutting.

It is recommended that you don’t put your fabric through the white rollers.

I also ironed some interfacing onto this pretty yellow fabric.

After I got my shapes cut out, I placed them on this canvas tote bag and ironed them on.  Too EASY!

Don’t you think this is perfectly “Spring(y)” ?  You can make things like this too!  This and tons more!

Also, readers that already have a Silhouette can get 25% off fabric interfacing. The March promotion will run from the 21st through the 27th.  THAT is a great deal! To get this deal, use the code REPURPOSED at checkout!

Remember that our blog hop is still going on:

tchotchke

It’s a very unique opportunity for you to get something for nothing! Now really, how often does THAT happen?  Be sure to check it out. If you have something that doesn’t “quite” fit your style anymore, why not offer it to one of our blog friends who would love it and give it a new home?

It’s a busy week for me!  Jamie’s bridal shower is on Saturday!  Am I ready? NO!  Will I be ready come Saturday, I hope!  Smile   I have had the help of a very nice good fairy! (thanks Stephanie!)

I hope you’re having a great week!

Now that's something I could make really good use of. The only thing holding me back from buying it is the lack of money. lol Maybe we can trade for those hen and chicks you wanted. I need some yellow cloth flowers for a project. Lets talk.

Great job Gail, looks very cute. I wish it was in my budget to get one but I'll have to wait to win one :)
